Manufacture of bronze ingots by centrifugal casting

The essence of centrifugal casting is the next: a molten metal is poured into rolling mould. The result of this process is metal crystallization under the pressure of centrifugal force. Centrifugal casting is specially adapted to manufacturing of cylindrical components having the shape of rotation. During the rotation oxides and impurities which are found in molten metal are forced to go inward toward the central axis to be removed later by machining.
